How it works
What is Vintapp?
An iPhone app that prepares your sale listings, for Vinted and for other selling apps. You photograph a piece of clothing laid flat, or pick a photo from your library. The app recognizes the type, brand, material, color, size and condition when they’re visible, writes the title and the description, and suggests a price you adjust. It also creates pro photos of the item, worn by a model or styled another way: 9 styles, 3 angles. The listing is written for your Vinted site, such as vinted.co.uk or vinted.com, in its language and with its sizes. Then you save the photos, copy the listing and post it yourself, on Vinted or on any other selling app, like Depop or eBay.
Which selling apps can I post on?
Whichever you use: Vinted, Depop, eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Poshmark, or any other. Save the photos, copy your listing and post it yourself, from your own account. None of these platforms is a Vintapp partner.
Does Vintapp post on my behalf?
No, never. You copy your listing, add the photos and publish it yourself, from your own account, on Vinted or anywhere else. Vintapp sends no messages in your name, never changes a price behind your back and never relists anything without you.
Is Vintapp affiliated with Vinted?
No. Vintapp is an independent service and is not affiliated with Vinted: no partnership and no sponsorship with Vinted UAB. We send nothing to Vinted: you post your listing yourself, from your own account.
What can I scan?
One piece of clothing per photo, fully in the frame. The model styles are designed for clothes. For shoes or an accessory, the listing still gets written: in that case, choose a style that keeps your pixels rather than a model.
How long does it take?
About a minute per item, photos included, depending on the style you choose. Keep the app open while it works. If you leave it, your listing will be waiting for you in the Sell tab.
What about Android?
Not yet. Vintapp is an iPhone app, for iOS 17 or later.
Photos and results
Are model photos allowed on Vinted?
Vinted sets its own rules for photos and can change them: we can’t make promises on its behalf. Here’s what we do on our side: the “Cutout” and “Backdrop” styles keep your original pixels, and you’re told before any image is generated from your photo. Our advice: always keep at least one real photo of your item in the listing. What you post is your call.
Can people tell an image is AI-generated?
It depends on the style. “Cutout” and “Backdrop” cut out your photo on your iPhone and keep your pixels: nothing is redrawn. The other styles, models included, create a new image from your photo, and the app tells you before creating it. Look at the result the way a buyer would, and always keep a real photo in the listing.
The app got my item wrong. What can I do?
It depends on the photo. What works: daylight, the item laid flat, fully in the frame, with nothing else around it. A dark, crooked or distant photo gives a less accurate listing.
You can edit every field of the listing before posting, especially the brand and the size, which the app can’t always read from the photo. And if you don’t like the result, retake the photo and try again.
What about the price?
The app suggests a price: an estimate that you adjust before posting. Compare it with a few similar listings on the site where you sell: you’re the one who sets the price.
Can I redo the photos?
Yes. From the listing, “Regenerate” creates new photos: you can choose another style or retake the photo. Each new generation of photos by the AI counts as an item; the styles made on your iPhone, “Cutout” and “Backdrop”, don’t count.
Subscription and cancellation
Can I try it without paying?
Yes. Your first complete listing, photos included, is free, once per device and per account, with no card required: you see exactly what the app produces before you pay anything. There’s no free trial of the subscription.
What is an item?
One analyzed piece of clothing: its photos, its title, its description and its suggested price. It’s the only unit we count: once for the analysis and the first set of photos, then once for each new generation of photos by the AI.
How much does it cost?
Vintapp is a monthly subscription with no commitment, sold and managed by Apple, that you can cancel at any time. The price and the number of items included are shown in the app and on the App Store when you subscribe: we don’t copy them here, so they can never be out of date.
Every style is included, your own model too.
Can I buy items without subscribing?
Yes, with an item pack paid once, offered in the app. Nothing renews, there’s nothing to cancel, and the items in a pack don’t expire. If you also subscribe, they’re only used once your monthly quota has run out.
Does my quota roll over to the next month?
No. Your quota starts again from zero at each billing period, on the date Apple charges you: unused items don’t carry over. Items from a pack, on the other hand, don’t expire.
How do I cancel?
The subscription is managed by Apple, never by us. On your iPhone: Settings, then your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then Vintapp, then “Cancel Subscription”. It stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for, then stops. You can also use the Subscriptions page of your Apple Account, or go to Account, then “Manage my subscription” in the app.
Deleting the app doesn’t cancel the subscription. Neither does deleting your Vintapp account.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases go through the App Store, so refund requests are made to Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. Also write to us at support@vintapp.online if something didn’t work: we’ll look into it with you.
I have an older plan. What changes?
Nothing, as long as you don’t cancel: you keep your plan and its quota.
Troubleshooting
How do I post my listing?
From your listing, save the photos to your Photos app and copy the listing. Then open Vinted, or any other selling app, start a new listing, add the photos and paste the text. Check the size, the brand and the condition before you post: you’re the one who publishes it.
My listing doesn’t show up
Open the Sell tab: your listings are there, newest first. If a scan was interrupted, because the connection dropped or the app was closed, run it again, and write to us if it happens again.
The app crashes or freezes
Close the app completely and reopen it. Check that you have the latest version from the App Store, and iOS 17 or later. If it keeps happening, write to us with the app version, shown at the bottom of the Account tab, and a screenshot.
How do I contact you?
By email, at support@vintapp.online, with your account’s email address if it has one, a description of the problem and, if you can, a screenshot.
Privacy
What do you do with my photos?
They’re used to create your listing and your images. To do that, they’re sent to a third-party AI service, then stored on our server in France so you can find your listings in the app. They’re never sold, published or indexed by search engines.
In all honesty: an image’s address is unlisted but public, like a shared attachment. Don’t share those links. The details are in the privacy policy.
Is my data shared with Vinted?
No. None of your data, whether email, photos or listings, is passed on to Vinted or to any commercial third party.
How do I delete my photos?
Deleting a listing, with the button at the bottom of the listing, erases the original photo and the images generated from it. Deleting your account erases everything.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account, then “Delete my account”. Deletion is immediate and permanent: account, listings, photos, tracked listings. Two exceptions, allowed by the GDPR (the EU data protection law), which we’d rather spell out: proof of purchase, kept for accounting and to handle an Apple refund that might come later, and a technical device identifier tied to the free listing, separated from your identity, without which deleting and re-creating an account would unlock a new free listing every time.
Any pack balance is lost with the account, so use it up first. And deleting your account doesn’t cancel your subscription, which is managed by Apple: cancel it first.
Does the site use cookies?
No: no analytics or advertising cookies on vintapp.online, and no third-party scripts. The details are in the privacy policy.
